Product Service Specialist - DTS Products- UK

Malvern Instruments develops, manufactures and markets advanced analytical systems. Our systems are used in many industries, for the characterization of a wide variety of materials, delivering valuable data to our customers.

To support the continued growth of the Dispersion Technology Systems range of products, we are seeking to recruit a DTS Service Specialist to ensure high quality service support for Malvern’s DTS product range and to influence the effectiveness and efficiency of DTS Customer Support.  Key responsibilities will also include providing specific service / support input into Malvern’s product development programmes to enhance the serviceability and reliability of DTS products.

This is a service position with direct customer interaction and therefore excellent command of spoken and written English is essential.

The position is based at our headquarters in Malvern, Worcestershire, however, travel within the UK and overseas will be required as and when necessary.

To succeed in this role you will have a Chemistry science degree, ideally with a final year project in a biological application. A working knowledge of chromatography and separation science would be an advantage.

In addition we are looking for the following attributes and skills; 

A proven ability at problem solving and decision making.

Excellent communication skills, coupled with an ability to instil confidence in the receiver.

Good listening skills with the ability to translate customer requirements and needs.

Self-motivated.

Ability to handle change and adapt to new situations.

Confident with use of PC’s, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office software.
