Scirocco 2000 dry powder feeder

Many dry materials are used dry, either by their end users or in further manufacturing processes. Some materials, such as cements, foodstuffs and starches change with hydration. The particle size distribution of such materials are ideally measured dry.

The Scirocco, with its precise control of feed rate and dispersion pressure to a precision of 0.02 bar (0.002 Mpa), assures users of unrivalled standards of reproducibility. Its sealed balanced flow air cell and the availability of micro volume feeder trays makes it particularly suitable for the measurement of novel drug materials in the pharmaceutical industry.

  Dispersion Type
Dry

  Dispersion Mechanism
Particle flow controlled using variable feed-rate vibrating tray.
