Automated processes and quality control place high demands on the uptime performance of on-line size analyzers, and all Malvern Process systems are designed from the outset for process use. The success of Malvern's on-line size analyzer comes from their ability to be installed almost anywhere, thanks to strong interfacing capabilities, both to the process and to the control system.
Simple reliable concept, with proven industrial usage and acceptance
Representative sampling to ISO 8656-1
Flexible system integration and user interface
Customer quality procedures easily accommodated in design
The Insitec on-line size analyzer is used for real-time measurement of final grade cement material in the finish mill. Volumetric size fractions are correlated to Blaine to allow real-time fineness estimation, as well as correlation to compressive strength data.
The most common location for an Insitec on-line size analyzer is in the final grade cement stream exiting the separator of the finish mill. The mass flow rate of the dry powder can be up to 150t/h, and the measurement will take place in a gravity chute, an air slide or at the end of a conveyor .
The Insitec on-line size analyzer can also be used to monitor size at the exit of the raw mill in clinker production.
