Using Dual Polarization Interferometry in 'Soft' Surface Science Applications
In this webinar the application of the surface technique of Dual Polarization Interferometry (DPI) in 'soft' surface science will be discussed. A brief overview of the technique will be provided. Surface preparation techniques will be examined. Results obtained using model systems to verify the approach will be presented and examples of a range of 'soft' surface science systems including surfactant, surfactant:polymer and polymer:protein systems will be discussed. Finally there will be a comparison of DPI with commonly used 'soft' surface science measurement techniques.
