Laser Diffraction Masterclass 2: Achieving reproducible particle size measurements

The process by which sample selection and dispersion is achieved is one of the most significant sources of errors when carrying out particle size measurements. In this seminar, the process by which sampling and dispersion is achieved during laser diffraction measurements will be described, with reference to the guidance provided in ISO13320, USP <429> and EP 2.9.31. The principles of dry and wet sample dispersion will be explored and practical examples of method optimisation will be presented. The aim will be to provide attendees with a systemic approach for method development
